Musharraf?s bungalow saved from being confiscated *

KARACHI: The main residential bungalow of former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf, located in Army Housing Scheme Clifton, was saved from being confiscated after it was revealed the house was owned by his daughter Aaila Raza.

According to the reply submitted by Military Estate ****** in District and Sessions Court on Friday, the bungalow on Zamzama Street, Askari Villa Phase 6 is owned by Aaila Raza, daughter of former military ruler.

According to sources, Defense Housing Authority (DHA) last week had confirmed three properties owned by Pervez Musharraf and issued **tices to Military Estate ******r for confirmation of two more properties including main residence at Army Housing.

The District and Sessions Judge South, following the special court’s directives, had issued a **tice to Defence Housing Authority (DHA) for confiscation of Pervez Musharraf’s property.

The **tice delivered to the DHA states that a report should be submitted within three days after confiscation of three bungalows and a plot owned by Musharraf.

The properties, to be seized according to the court ruling, was a house on Zamzama Street, two houses in DHA Phase 8 and a plot in Army Housing Scheme, Clifton.
