HAFIZABAD: Police on Thursday foiled a kidnapping bid and rescued five children. The children were taken into custody by the Police as the suspected kidnappers were arrested.
According to the police, Hasnain, Rafay, Ahmad Raza, Mudassir and Fahad Bhatti were playing at Qila Ram Kaur area in Hafizabad when suspect Ali Raza kidnaped them on the pretext of taking a dive in a swimming pool. The suspect was taking the children towards Head Sagar when the children saw a Police mobile and started to shout.
Police rescued the children, taking them into their custody and arrested the suspected kidnapper.
