Everything you need to k**w about the new Harry Potter book
Even since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows dropped in 2007, fans have been clamoring for more — a Marauders prequel, a**ther story, anything that allows us to spend one more day at Hogwarts. (This desperation is why every JK Rowling tweet revelation is a news story.)
For those unaware, that day has finally arrived. It's **t quite an eighth Harry Potter book in the traditional sense, but it is a**ther story about Harry Potter, former boy wizard and current king of the internet. Beggars can't be choosers.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I & II is a script version of the play of the same name that just opened in London. The story — based off an idea by Queen J.K. Rowling but actually scripted by Jack Thorne — centers on events 19 years after the Battle at Hogwarts.
