U.S.-led airstrikes on an Islamic State (ISIS)-held village in Syria have killed dozens of civilians, including many women and children, in what is considered the deadliest attack on civilians since the start of the campaign against ISIS.*

Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said at least 56 civilians, of which at least 11 were children, were killed in the **rthern countryside of Manbij, with "tens of others" injured.*

The Turkey-based Syrian Institute for Justice put the death toll at 85, saying entire families were wiped out in the strikes.
