PARIS: French President Francois Hollande said Friday that an attack which saw a truck plough into a crowd in Nice, killing 77 people, was clearly a "terrorist" act.
Hollande said several children were among the dead and 20 victims were in a critical state after the attack, which he said was of an "undeniable terrorist nature".
He said Friday France´s state of emergency would be extended for a**ther three months after the truck attack in Nice.
The state of emergency has been in place since **vember´s jihadist attacks in Paris, and was due to be lifted on July 26.
