Karachi: Billboards continue to pose threat to safety of people *

KARACHI: Large size advertising Billboards still pose serious threat to the safety of people in the port city.

The Billboards have **t been ******* so far from different areas of the city despite the Supreme Court orders.

Last week the Supreme Court had ordered removal of Billboards from city by June 30 following the start of monsoon rains but ** initiative has been taken in compliance with the court order.

During monsoon rains every year dozens of people die in accidents when Billboards use to fall due to strong winds and rain. (INP)
