ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Monday ******* Superintendent of police (SP) City Rizwan Gondal from his post for allegedly damaging reputation of the police Department.
The minister took action on a complaint of a citizen that SP Rizwan caused rumpus in the lobby of a five star hotel and also insulted the hotel administration.SP Rizwan arrested the hotel manager on a petty matter and kept him in illegal custody. He was found guilty during the initial investigation. On this, the minister ordered a regular inquiry into the matter and directed the SP to report to the Establishment Division with an immediate effect.
Ch Nisar said SP Rizwan damaged the reputation of the police and there was ** space for such a person in the department.An official of the Special Branch has also been suspended for **t providing report about the incident.
