KARACHI: The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) called on COAS General Raheel Sharif to provide justice to the family of deceased MQM member Aftab Ahmad, on Sunday.
Upon the army chief's arrival in Karachi to attend high-level security meetings, the Rabita Committee released a statement in which the body reminded the army chief that he had ordered an inquiry into the death of Aftab Ahmad, who was in Rangers' custody, in May.
It was also said in the statement that reports had emerged that five rangers personnel had been suspended after initiating the inquiry but after that, **thing substantial happened.
Rabita Committee stated that justice delayed was justice denied. It called on the army chief to expedite the inquiry and bring the killers of Aftab Ahmad to justice.
