DERA ISMAIL KHAN/MINGORA: Two people were killed and as many injured in separate accidents involving motorcycles in Dera Ismail Khan and Swat districts on Saturday.
They said that one Amanullah along with his 12-year-old nephew Hidayatullah was on his way home near Qureshi Mor in DI Khan when a speeding truck hit his motorcycle. As a result, Hidayatullah was killed instantly while Amanullah sustained injuries.
The injured was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan where his condition was said to be critical. The police registered the case and started investigation.
Separately, Fazal Malik and his friend Junaid were riding a motorcycle in Garama area in Kabal tehsil, Swat, when a speeding car struck them. As a result, Fazal Malik died on the spot and Junaid sustained injuries. Junaid was shifted to the Saidu Sharif Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, a mi**r boy identified as Ayan Ali sustained injuries when roof of a house collapsed in Dangram village in the suburb of Mingora City. Ayan was shifted to hospital where his condition was stated to be out of danger.
