MINGORA: The personnel of law enforcement agencies on Friday harassed and misbehaved with the correspondent and cameraman of The News and Geo TV at Kanju Airport just before Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's arrival to Swat.
The reporter Essa Khankhel and cameraman Shahid Ali had come to the Airport to cover the arrival of the premier to Swat for The News and Geo TV when the security officials dressed in civvies stopped and evicted them from the Airport premises.
The reporter heard them saying that they had strict orders from the high-ups **t to let the reporter enter the airport. Local journalists condemned the harassment of fellow media men and demanded of the prime minister and authorities concerned to take disciplinary action against the officials concerned for barring the journalists from carrying out their duty.
