According to details, the Met department has warned that the plain areas of Sindh and Punjab are likely to experience a hot temperature today. The Met department has forecast a warm and dry temperature throughout the country and stated that the temperature could rise by 4-5°C. Meanwhile, some areas of Kashmir are likely to receive rainfall today as well.
Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad are some cities from Sindh which will experience hot weather whereas Sibi and Makran Division in Balochistan are also to experience soaring temperatures today. most of Punjab’s plain areas will experience a hot temperature today. In such areas, the temperature can even exceed 45°C.
"Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country. However, dust storm with few chances of light rain-thunderstorm may occur at few places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir during evening/night. Very hot and dry weather would continue over plain areas of Punjab, KP, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sibbi and Makran divisions," read the post on Pakistan Meteorological Department's website.
Meanwhile, Kashmir and its surrounding areas can experience rainfall.
