Section 4 imposed to acquire land for airport in Mansehra

MANSEHRA: The district administration on Tuesday imposed Section 4 to acquire 6302 kanal of land in Tanawal area for establishment of an airport in Mansehra.

A **tification was also addressed to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for the completion of airport survey and other formalities.

Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Hussain, who is also district land acquisition collector, imposed the Section 4 for the land acquisition and asked the department concerned to fulfill formalities. “The land is likely to be required to be taken by government at public expense for public purpose namely for the construction/establishment of airport at Mansehra,” said the **tification issued by the district land acquisition collector.

The land of eight villages, including Lassan Nawab, Dhairy, Palsala, Bandi Koragwal, Kund, Sawan Mera, Jisgran Bala and Jisgran Pain, is being acquired to establish the airport.

The copies of said **tification were also dis*****ed to the Senior Member Board of Revenue Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Commissioner Hazara division, director commercial and estate headquarters CAA Karachi, senior joint director (Estate) of CAA BBIAP, Islamabad, the manager government printing press Peshawar for publication of government gazette and teshisldar Mansehra.
