Hundreds of Chinese students fall seriously ill at school built on toxic site

An investigation was launched on Sunday by China's Ministry of Environmental Protection on the Changzhou Foreign Language school in Jiangsu, China, after almost 500 students fell ill with a range of illnesses as serious as cancer.

Of the 641 students examined by doctors, 493 of them were diag**sed with several diseases.

According to China Daily, the pollution-related illnesses include dermatitis, eczema, blood ab**rmalities and leukemia — a type of cancer.
