sequel will have a
'stronger narrative' than the original



LONDON — The
Trainspotting sequel is on its way, people.

On Sunday, Scottish actor Robert Carlyle (a.k.a. the memorably terrifying Francis Begbie) appeared with author Irvine Welsh in Edinburgh's Usher Hall.
The two appeared together to mark the 20th anniversary of
Trainspotting,*the
Evening Standard reports.
"We start shooting, I understand, in the middle of May and I think it's going to be pretty much 50-50 between Edinburgh and Glasgow," said Carlyle.
"What I
will say is that all the characters are exactly where you would want them to be.
