Meet Zari, the first Afghan Muppet on 'Sesame Street'
   There's a brand new neighbor on Sesame Street. It's time to Meet Zari, the show's first Afghan Muppet, who will debut on season five of Baghch-e-Simsim, the Afghan version of the famous children's program.* She's a six-year-old girl who will be featured in segments about "girls' empowerment, national identity, physical health and social and emotional wellbeing," according to a press release.
