Obama to name Supreme Court **minee today
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will an**unce his **minee*to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat on Wednesday, setting up an election year battle with Republicans who have vowed that they would **t even meet with his candidate.
Obama will make the an**uncement in a Rose Garden ceremony at 11 am.
In an email to supporters, Obama did **t name the pick, but said that he had made his decision.
"In putting forward a **minee today, I am fulfilling my constitutional duty," Obama said to supporters. "I’m doing my job. I hope that our Senators will do their jobs, and move quickly to consider my **minee." Read more...
