An initiative to help low-income Expat workers save money is paying dividends, workers and campaign organisers said. The Apna Sapna (Our Dreams) drive by Western Union has so far reached 18,500 workers, mostly unskilled staff, in the UAE and Saudi Arabia since its launch in **vember 2014 as part of the firmâ??s corporate social responsibility efforts. On Friday, a few dozen workers in Dubaiâ??s Al Qouz area became the latest batch to benefit from basic financial literacy about budgeting, saving and investment.
