Tortoise needs surgery as rat bites off organs

An full-grown star Tortoise has been undergoing treatment after its penis and forelimbs were bitten off by a rat recently. The star tortoise, which is being treated at a veterinary clinic in Chembur, needs to undergo surgery for amputation of a part of the organ, said Dr Deepa Katyal, the veterinarian who is treating it.
