Indian recalls New Zealand envoy after wife accused of assault
 India has recalled its high commissioner to New Zealand Ravi Thapar following allegations that his wife assaulted a member of his domestic staff. New Zealand police said a member of staff at the Indian mission had alleged he was assaulted by Sharmila Thapar, the wife of the envoy, but that he declined to file a formal complaint.
