Amman, May 26 (IANS) Jordan on Tuesday declared that all Muslims should be engaged in the war against terrorist organisations, which seek to defame the Islamic faith. During the talks, Jordan and the US also discussed efforts to resume Palestinian-Israeli negotiations in order to pave the way for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with east Jerusalem as its capital. Jordan declared that the US has a major role to play in the resumption of the stalled peace talks, Xinhua news agency reported.
