The device is intended to let patients receive NPWT Therapy while at home, reducing hospital stays and extending the amount of time the Therapy can be administered.

The Na**va is tiny, weighing in at just over seven grams, and it does **t have a reservoir for the sucked out exudate. It uses disposable dressings that absorb the liquids released by the wound, which can be changed as necessary. As a matter of fact, the whole System is disposable, its use expected to last ** longer than a month and thrown away by the patient.

It doesn’t use a battery, instead the patient sticks on the dressing, gives the attached unit a few pumps, activates it, and*the System delivers a -125 mmHg Negative Pressure to the wound.
