Equity markets in the UAE continued to trade sideways on Monday, showing relative resistance to regional news about Saudi Arabia launching attacks on Yemen. With oil prices showing slow signs of potential improvement, that still did **t reflect in the market as the news from Yemen seemed to take a priority. While the DFM index crawled up 0.2 per cent to reach 3,444.65, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) general index showed better performance with an increase of 1.4 per cent to reach 4,431.35. In Dubai, share prices of the market?s blue chips moved only slightly, with Emaar and Damac ending flat.
