At least 44 Islamic State terrorists were killed today, during Iraqi Military operations in the city of Ramadi, the capital of western Iraq. The operations, which were largely supported by U.S.-led coalition airstrikes took place in the city's **rthern area, near one of the military's main operational headquarters. Before the operation, soldiers in the city had been under near constant assault by Isis, with at least two dozen car bomb attacks targeting tactical Military Positions over the past week. The uptick in violence has let to elevated concerns that ISIS is trying to take full control of the strategically vital city.
