Codman Neuro, a part of DePuy Synthes, itself a

SPETZLER MALIS Dual Irrigating Disposable **n-Stick Bipolar Forceps. These are the first
Disposable dual-irrigated
Forceps specifically designed for use in neurosurgery. There’s a fluid channel within each of the forceps’ fingers that helps improve irrigation coverage and aids in*keep the working area clear and easily accessible during electrosurgery. Additionally, the coating of the new
Forceps is the same as that found on
SPETZLER MALIS Disposable Bipolar
Forceps that prevents coagulation around the working site.
“The
Dual irrigation design is ideal for working with arteriove**us malformations and vascular tumors as they keep the tips and vessels moist enhancing their **n*stick properties, and the
transparent fine tubing provides better visualization,” said neurosurgeon Robert Spetzler, MD, FACS, Director, Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, in a statement. “The
SPETZLER MALIS Disposable Bipolar
Forceps line has been designed to be **n*stick, low profile, and provide great tactile feedback.”
