ISIL is said to have entered the southeastern edge of the Syrian city. Around 180,000 people have fled into Turkey to escape the
fighting around Kobani. After missiles hit a Turkish house early on Sunday, the area is said to have been evacuated. Turkey?s government has so far taken a back seat in the battle against
ISIL but it has vowed to protect its own borders.
