Back in July, NBC an**unced that
Girls star
Allison Williams would play
Peter Pan in their upcoming telecast of
Peter Pan Live!, and **w we finally have a look at the actress in her boyish costume. Of course, this isn't the
First time that we've seen
Williams dressed as
Peter Pan, as she shared a photo of herself wearing the famous green costume on Instagram shortly after the news was an**unced. (See below.) She also gave fans a glimpse at
the flying training that she would have to take part in as she prepares for the live-action musical. This is NBC's second live telecast of a musical, the
First being 2013's
The Sound of Music Live!, which starred
Carrie Underwood. The program was a ratings win for NBC, although it was famously met with some harsh criticism by fans online. Hopefully
Williams will have an easier time when
Peter Pan Live! airs on NBC on Dec. 4.
