Beyoncé graces the cover of
the September issue of CR Fashion Book, from former French
Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld. It's the first-ever collaboration between the two, and they totally pulled it off; **t only does
Beyoncé look stunning in looks from
Prada,
Saint Laurent, and
Givenchy (the shoot was styled by Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci), but the singer also nailed her avant-garde poses and even paid homage to her hit song "Drunk in Love" while posing with a Chanel surfboard on her back.
Along with the gorgeous photos is a poem written by
Beyoncé called "Bey the Light" in which she muses about her 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. She writes, "It's my daughter, she's my biggest muse. There's someone, we all find out soon, more important than ourselves to lose." She also sheds some light on her onstage alter ego,
Sasha Fierce: "Though we're different as blue and red, I'm **t afraid to draw from her in performance, rifts, even in bed." Keep reading to see
Beyoncé in issue five of
CR Fashion Book.
