The TytoHome Medical Exam Kit provides a true telehealth capability by letting parents, caretakers, and people themselves perform physical exams. While the exams are done by average folks, the data, such as otoscope photos, temperature readings, and heart rate can be examined by a physician over a computer. The
Tyto device has a camera, onto which different gadgets can be attached, such as a tongue depressor, to give it specialized medical powers.

Currently, the TytoHome system, which is being sold for $299, is really only supported by two physician networks, Sanford Health and LiveHealth Online, but others will hopefully soon join them.
