افتراضي Quaid-i-Azam was right: Farooq Abdullah

KARACHI: Mahatma Gandhi had offered Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah the premiership of (united) India, but the former had rejected the offer. This was disclosed by former chief minister of Indian-held Jammu & Kashmir Farooq Abdullah while talking to the media here.He said being offered premiership of India, Quaid-i-Azam said “today you are making me the prime minister (of India), but tomorrow you will remove me any moment as you are in a majority. There a new Pakistan is better for me.” He regretted the way India was being run today. He said it was beyond his wildest dreams that attempts would be made to change a secular India and run in a particular way. He said it would be very dangerous for India the way it was being run currently.Quaid-i-Azam right: Farooq Abdullah
