SHAWNEE, Kan. — Well that’s one way to win an argument.
A Kansas man who was in the middle of an argument
with his
wife over his spending on
lottery tickets discovered one of his old tickets was actually worth $22,000, according to the Associated Press.
Louis Kronawitter
told the Topeka Capital-Journal he originally thought the winning ticket was only for a free
lottery ticket, but after he checked the results again he realized he’d won the $22,000 prize. Kronawitter said he always thought he would win a big prize and feels like he will win again someday.
He was checking his tickets after his
wife and he began bickering about how much money he’d spent on
lottery tickets. The couple was extremely surprised when they discovered the big win.
with his winnings, the man plans to give some of the money to is church and use the rest to help family.
