Health App for iOS 8
At their*highly-anticipated WWDC key**te in San Francisco on Monday,
Apple introduced*(or perhaps confirmed rumors of) HealthKit, a new service for iOS 8 that can collect
Health data from apps,
Health and fitness wearables, and even
Health care providers. Consumers can view this data on an app, appropriately called “Health”.
Little else is k**wn about
HealthKit and
Health right **w, although it appears that
Apple has been working with
Nike as well as at least 20 hospital systems whose names were listed during the key**te.
