Why
Taco Bell Went Loco for Snapchat

Taco Bell doesn't shy away from risk.
The company, in fact, was founded as a result of one taken by a restaurateur nearly 50 years ago.
In the late 1950s, Glen
Bell set out to shake up the fast food industry and give it more than just hotdogs and hamburgers. Though there wasn't yet a billion-dollar market for quick-service Mexican food,
Bell was convinced the genre would catch on.

Bell struck out on his own and built the first
Taco Bell in 1962 in Downey, Calif
