Sheeran certainly knows how to pull a crowd, especially in the middle of a Australian laneway.
The singer performed a
free gig in Melbourne's Hosier Lane on Monday as part of a live cross from the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where he took home the award for Song of the Year.

"Sorry, I can't be there, I'm in Melbourne at the moment, it is 10:15 in the morning and I am accepting this award," he said, before launching into a performance of his award-winning single "Perfect."
"Thank you so much to all the programmers at iHeart, all the radio DJs, and all the fans. And they've set up so I can play, so I'm gonna play if that's alright."
