The sprawling, interconnected storylines of
Game of Thrones can sometimes be confusing for even the most dedicated viewer, so it's reassuring to know that sometimes the cast struggles to keep up with the plot twists just as much as we do.
Stephen Dillane, who played Stannis Baratheon from Season 2 through Season 5 of the HBO hit, recently revealed to the UK's
Times newspaper (via
io9) that he had a
hard time understanding what his scenes were about, often relying on his co-star Liam Cunningham (aka Davos Seaworth) to explain what was going on.*
