A submersible used to investigate the seabed of the Indian Ocean for the missing
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has resurfaced
After it hit a roadblock.
The
Bluefin-21, an auto**mous underwater vehicle, was deployed from the Australian navy ship Ocean Shield early Monday. However, the submersible turned back six hours into its mission to explore the search zone in the southern Indian Ocean, off the coast of Western Australia, because it exceeded its maximum depth of around 15,000 feet,
according to a release from the Joint Agency Coordination Centre. The six hours of collected data is currently being "extracted and analyzed."
