Surat to interact with residents and seek inputs from them for the
Congress manifesto for the
Gujarat elections.
Pitroda has been tasked to tour 5 cities in
Gujarat - Vadodara, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar and
Surat to gather inputs for the party's election manifesto. Speaking to reporters in Surat,
Pitroda said that the top down approach followed by most parties for deciding their manifestos fail to fulfill the aspirations of the people. Hence,
Congress will decide its manifesto after seeking suggestions from the people themselves.
