A dash cam has captured the moment a
Chicken crossing a
road caused a crash. The footage, which was captured on a dash cam in Tasmania, Australia, shows a silver Holden Barina stopping to allow a
Chicken to
cross the road. As the dash cam car - a white pickup - slows down behind, another motorist doesn't stop in time and rear-ends the camera-carrying car. The
Chicken leaps into the air at the sounds of the bang and decides not to
cross the
road after all, and retreating to the curbside. The furious driver can be heard swearing before the footage shows the extent of the damage to both vehicles, with the offending blue Kia bearing the brunt of the collision. It is not known if anyone was injured in the
crash or if the driver of the Kia was prosecuted.
