There is some (potential) good news for power users, though: powering up the
iPhone 8 might just be the fastest, most seamless experience of any
iPhone yet. The
iPhone 8 could be in line for some new quick-charging capabilities, according to a recent Barclays investors **te obtained by
MacRumors.*
The **te claims the
iPhone 8 will be bundled with the necessary specs for the
fast charging thanks to new USB-C Power Delivery chips in the device and a new power adapter, which would allow Apple to introduce the capability without ditching its proprietary Lightning connector.
