George Clooney turned 56 on May 6, and he celebrated in style thanks to
his wife, Amal.
The human rights attorney, who
is pregnant with twins, threw the
Money Monster actor
a surprise party at their home in London on Saturday. George's friends Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber flew from LA to London last week to help
Amal get things ready for the party. "Amal set it all up, and Rande and Cindy surprised
George when he got home Saturday,"
E! News reports. "When
George pulled into his driveway, Rande came from around the bushes driving George's lawnmower and pulled up beside George's car while Cindy was nearby in the garden cutting fresh flowers."
The festivities, which were attended by a small group of George's close friends, also included an amazing
Birthday Cake that featured
George and Rande standing behind a bar and serving their Casamigos Tequila. Rande, who turned 55 on April 27, posted a photo of the two posing behind the
Cake on Instagram, writing, "Celebrating our Birthdays @casamigos style. Thanks for the cool
Cake Amal. #houseoffriends." Cindy also shared a funny snap of the trio on a boat, writing, "We can always count on him for the photobomb." While
Amal didn't hop in any of the photos, we're assuming she was just too busy being
an overall badass.
