RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Saturday referring to a news item reported in the media has clarified that response to a question on Panama in the UK reported was incomplete and out of context.
"Pakistan Army,
like every Pakistani,
awaits a
decision based on
justice and merit," he said in a Tweet here.
It had been reported earlier that Maj Gen Ghafoor had said the
Army will accept any verdict that comes in the Panamagate case.
He had been quoted as saying that ** matter what the verdict is, the
decision will be accepted by everyone, including the army.
