Basel Khayat has revealed that he is suffering from the hereditary inflammatory
disorder k**wn as
Mediterranean Fever (FMF).
According to Wikipedia, FMF is an "auto-inflammatory disease caused by mutations in
Mediterranean fever gene, which encodes a 781?ami** acid protein called pyrin."
Basel said that the
rare disease causes him pains in his stomach, joints and head.
