play Donald Trump on
Saturday Night Live this season, it was an**unced Wednesday.
SNL's Lorne Michaels made the decision to cast someone outside of the primary cast, and who better to
play the Republican presidential **minee than Baldwin, who has hosted the show a record 16 times. The arrangement is similar to how Larry David played Bernie Sanders last year.
Darrell Hammond played
Trump on
SNL last season, and before that it was Taran Killam, who is **t returning to the sketch show. Hammond will be back in his capacity as the show's an**uncer — and, presumably, continue to occasionally cameo as his much-loved Bill Clinton.*
