Saturday,
Trump threatened to invite Bill Clinton's former mistress,
Gennifer Flowers, to the presidential
debate on Monday.
Flowers tweeted her acceptance, but on
Fox News Sunday, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, the Republican **minee for vice president, explained that
Flowers wouldn't be attending. Trump,
Pence said, wasn't serious at all, but simply trying to "mock" Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Flowers had an extramarital affair with Bill Clinton
in the late 1980s. Though she accepted Trump's invite on Twitter, it was unclear at the time whether the campaign had any plans to follow through.
