LONDON — A gigantic wooden replica of London's 1666 skyline has been burned in the River Thames to
commemorate the 350th anniversary of the
Great Fire of London.
The event, which took place on Sunday as part of the London's Burning festival, involved a 120-meter (394-foot)-long sculpture being set alight and floated down the Thames on an e**rmous barge.

The model was conceptualised by creative event company Artichoke and U.S. sculptor David Best, and assembled by a team of workers in the run-up to the event.
