ISLAMABAD: Iranian Interior Ministry’s Department for
border Affairs Director General Majid Aqa Babaei has an**unced that two official
border points will be added to Iran-Pakistan joint
border lines.
According to the IRNA, Mirjaveh had already been the official
border entry between the two countries, Babaei said, **ting that Rimadan and Pishin would be also used as exit and entry
points between the two nations.
Before Rimadan in Chabahar and Pishin in Saravan, the Mirjaveh
border point had been the main
border crossing point on the Iran-Pakistan 928km border, the official said.About the trade exchange between Tehran and Islamabad, he said the figure had been around one billion dollars per year that was aimed to be increased fivefold. To achieve that end, the new
border points would play an effective role, he added.
