ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan will host
Saarc finance ministers conference in Islamabad in last week of the month. The
two-day conference will commence on
25th of August as all eight member countries of
Saarc have informed about their presence in the stated conference.
Likewise Indian
finance Minister and Minister for Corporate Arun Jaitley will be reaching the federal capital on 24th evening, and he will have meetings here with host
finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, who will host lunch in the ho**ur of the
Saarc ministers.
It is likely Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate the conference. Highly placed diplomatic sources told The News here Saturday that New Delhi born Indian minister will travel by a commercial flight unlike his colleague, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who created fuss with his conduct and irresponsible remarks during the Interior/Home
ministers conference of last week in Islamabad as he travelled by a special plan of Indian Border Security Force (IBSF).
Arun Jatley is a leading lawyer of India and highly qualified person. He has served as information minister earlier with Vajpaie government and careful about his utterances. The
finance ministers of the two countries will also have discussions about the bilateral issues on the sidelines of the conference. The conference of the

ministers of
Saarc are part of the preparations for the summit that will be taking place on 8th of **vember in Islamabad. It will continue for three days. All eight heads of states/government, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have accorded their consent for participating in the summit.
The sources said that the heads of the delegation would be visiting Murree for traditional ‘retreat’, and for the purpose, the Gover**r’s House in Murree is being re**vated for the purpose. Fear has been expressed that the adverse developments taking place in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) could have serious impact on the chances of the summit.
