This
personal holographic display could soon be yours


Volume is a new kind of 3D display.*
It was created by
Looking Glass, a company based in Brooklyn and Hong Kong. The volumetric
display uses a projector and a ****** of transparent slices to create images in three-dimensional space, a tech**logy Looking Glass calls "lightfolding
."
It's currently being shown off at
Fridman Gallery in New York City, in a show featuring various artists.*
Looking Glass plans to offer pre-orders of a consumer device in September 2016.
Gameplay can be seen from the front and rear of the display.
