Cudi is entering the Lyon's den.
The multi-hyphenate performer born Scott Mescudi has signed on to Season 3 of
Empire as a
rival of Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Gray), the troublemaker younger brother of the Lyon empire.*
He'll have a recurring role as Gram, a rapper who is **t only a musical enemy, but a personal one as well, as he is dating Hakeem’s ex, Tiana (Serayah McNeill).*
When Empire returns for its third season in September — it's set to premiere Sept. 21 — rapper French Montana is also set to appear, as well as Taye Diggs, reportedly in a
Barack Obama-influenced role.*
