LONDON/LAHORE:
Imran Khan is single and
ready to get
married for the
third time but there’s ** truth in reports that he is already married, close friends and family members have insisted.
Reports swirled on Tuesday that the PTI leader has tied the k**t for the
third time in a ceremony in London but close aides of the cricket legend-turned-politician said the reports were untrue. However, they said that
Imran Khan is
ready to settle down for the
third time – less than a year after divorcing Reham Khan in a highly polarised and controversial manner. While
Imran Khan’s first
marriage with Jemima Khan ended in tears, his
marriage with Reham Khan became so toxic that they
Imran Khan divorced her through text while she was in the air.
When rumours refused to die down,
Imran Khan issued a statement denying marriage. “Rumours about my
marriage are absolutely baseless. I have **t gotten married. When I do I will an**unce & celebrate publicly.”
Speaking to The News, Naeem-ul-Haque said that they
marriage reports are baseless and
Imran khan is spending time with his two sons in London. Two close friends of
Imran Khan said that he was
ready to get
married for the
third time and was beaming at the prospect but they said he is still single and **t married. It’s understood that
Imran khan discussed
marriage plans with his sisters in Lahore on Eid. The family source confirmed that Maneka family’s Bushra gave ring to
Imran Khan and that “Pinky is in London”. The family source said that he had asked sisters to find
third bride for him and told them that this time around it should be an arranged marriage, facilitated by the sisters. But it can be confirmed that sisters were taken by surprise at the news of the marriage.
Imran Khan reached London on Saturday and has been spending time with his sons Suleman and Qasim. He has plans to watch cricket with his sons on Friday, said a source. As rumours went on,
Imran Khan’s friend Zulfi Bukhari issued a post on
Imran Khan’s facebook page denying that the PTI leader had gotten married.
One friend told The News that
Imran Khan believes that
third marriage is important for his political career and he must get
married ahead of the next general elections.
Imran Khan told Hindustan Times that he had plans to get
married for the
third time. Khan said: “Of course. It’s **t in my blood to give up. But it takes a lot. There’s **thing worse than divorce, I tell you. It’s one of the worst things that can happen to a human being. It doesn’t matter who initiates it, it’s a terrible experience. So I would be a bit more careful. But marrying at 60 is **t like marrying at 30.
The great thing about life is that it’s unpredictable; you never k**w what’s going to happen tomorrow. I am 63 years old and have been
married for only 10 years, but I am more of a staunch believer of
marriage **w [after two divorces] than I ever was.”
