ISLAMABAD: The entire political leadership of Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia and said the government and the people of Pakistan stood with their Saudi brethren in this hour of grief.
In a message, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif condemned the terrorist attacks in
Saudi Arabia which killed at least four security men and called for an international response to terrorism.
“The government and the people of
Pakistan are deeply shocked and saddened over the terrorist attacks in the holy land and share the pain and grief of their
Saudi brethren,” Nawaz said. “Our hearts and prayers are with the victims of the attacks and their families.”
The suicide bomber who caused a blast near the Masji-e-Nabwi (SAW) in Madina on Monday night killed four police officials and injured four others.
Nawaz stressed that the international community in general and the Muslims in particular need to forge unity at this critical moment to foil the nefarious designs of enemies of humanity and the Islamic nations.
“We need to renew collective efforts to fight terrorism,” the prime minister said and reiterated Pakistan’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
He said
Pakistan stood firm against every act of terrorism.
Expressing solidarity with
Saudi Arabia, the Foreign ****** of
Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attacks that caused loss of lives and injuries.
In a statement, the Foreign ****** said the government and the people of
Pakistan were in deep shock over the tragedy and extend their heartfelt condolences to the brotherly government and the people of
Saudi Arabia over the loss of in**cent lives.
“Our hearts go out to the bereaved families and we wish speedy recovery for the injured,” the statement said.
“The government and the people of
Pakistan stand in solidarity with the brotherly people of
Saudi Arabia in this hour of grief and reiterate their abiding commitment to the safety, security and territorial integrity of
Saudi Arabia.”
Condemning the terrorist attacks in
Saudi Arabia, President Mam**on Hussain expressed solidarity with King Salman bin Abdulaziz and commiserated with the affected people.
The president, in a message, said the Muslim world will have to adopt a joint strategy for the elimination of terrorism. He said the people of
Pakistan stood with their
Saudi brethren in this hour of grief.
Acting President Mian Raza Rabbani strongly condemned the blasts in different parts of
Saudi Arabia and said
Pakistan stood in solidarity with the brotherly people of
Saudi Arabia at this critical juncture.
Rabbani termed the attack a cowardly act aimed at creating panic and destabilizing regional and global peace.
He said terrorism was a global phe**me**n and there was a need to make collective efforts to defeat the nefarious designs of those wanting to subvert global peace.
Pakistan, he said, condemned the senseless terrorist attacks in
Saudi Arabia leading to the loss of precious lives and injuries to many in**cent people.
Minister for Information Senator Pervaiz Rashid strongly condemned blasts in
Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, he said terrorists had ** religion and they were enemies of mankind. He said the Pakistani nation shared the grief and stood with
Saudi brethren at this hour of trial. He said the blasts had hurt the religious sentiments of the entire Muslim Ummah.
”Such terrorists were bound to be punished in this world and the world hereafter,” he added.
Chief of the Army Staff General
Raheel Sharif condemned the terror attacks on
Saudi Arabia. The COAS called
Saudi Defence Minster Prince Muhammad bin Salman and condemned terrorist attacks in
Saudi Arabia, an ISPR news release issued here on early Tuesday stated.

Raheel sympathised with the affected families of attack victims and said: “We stand shoulder to shoulder with our
Saudi brothers in fighting the menace of terrorism.”

Saudi Arabia, saying the enemy had started targeting our spiritual centers **w.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, he urged the Muslim world to extend support to
Saudi Arabia in unison so that the nefarious designs of enemy could be thwarted.
“Who has targeted the holy places during the holy month of Ramazan stand excluded even from the ambit of humanity,” he said, adding that the world powers were behind these blasts. “This is a deep conspiracy and all Muslims from across the world will have to be united to foil it,” he stressed. —Agencies

Expressing full solidarity and unity with Khadam-e-Alharmain Shareefain Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the
Saudi government and the
Saudi people, they said the people of
Pakistan stood by them.
